Examples of Course Product Templates in Kajabi
When you first start creating courses in Kajabi, you will notice that Premier is its default template and all your courses will be built in this theme unless you decide to change it to one of the others listed below.
Premier contains minimal design and there’s not an overload of information on the screen. Instead, it relies on your course images to bring the page to life.
As users move through the course material, they see your images prominently displayed here too, with a visual sidebar on the right to help users move through the content more easily.
This template is really easy to use and edit and doesn’t require any advanced knowledge to make the most of it.
Momentum provides a basic template with plenty of space to add additional information about your course.
The boxes on the right allow you to upload relevant images and add information about your course. You can also include a call to action here, so it’s a great place to display any other Kajabi products and offers you have available for sale.
Momentum is less reliant on images and places more emphasis on the text portion of your lesson content. Therefore, it’s a good template to use if your content focuses on text rather than other types of media.
Sunset was created by A Penny in Your Pocket and provides a playful yet neatly organized template for your course content.
Features of Sunset include:
- A slideout sidebar menu
- A navigation menu in the header area with poster images
- The ability to click and hide comments
There’s also no “course progress” bar or wording, and the template’s creator recommends it for use as a membership site or resources area.
Course content is displayed centrally, and can be navigated via the sidebar.
This template does require a lot of editing to make it fit with your brand and style, so consider this before selecting it. On the whole, it’s better for more advanced users who are used to creating things in Kajabi.
Creative is a simple yet striking template that makes use of bold blocks of color (which you can of course customize to your brand). In terms of what it displays on the page, it’s very similar to the Premier template, just with a slightly different layout.
Because of its minimal design, this is a good template to use if you’re a beginner and want something different from Kajabi’s default Premier template.
Prosper features the exact same homepage layout as Premier but uses a more classical font set.
However, when you get into the lesson content, you can see it differs quite considerably from Premier.
The template operates like a slideshow and makes strong use of your chosen lesson image. Users can navigate to the subsequent or previous lesson by clicking the arrow buttons.
Lesson content is placed below the slideshow image, making the page quite long.
Despite its alternative layout, this template is easy to edit and beginner-friendly.
Gamify Lite is a template in the Kajabi platform that has been created by the Kajabi Hero creator Jiffy Online Courses.
The template adds a new dimension to your courses by introducing more gamification options into your learning experience.
Through this template you can grant digital badges upon completion of:
You can upload your own images to use as badges, and then choose when and how they are awarded by creating an automation process. You can even take things further by offering incentives for getting all available badges such as exclusive content or a free live coaching session.
The layout of this template is clean and modern, with an extra section where the user’s badges will be displayed.
The additional features of this template require a decent level of Kajabi knowledge and an understanding of how to use automation. Therefore, this template is not suitable for absolute beginners.
Gamify Lite with Sidebar
Gamify Lite with Sidebar provides the same features as noted above but offers an alternative layout.
The screen displays more information with all course content laid out in the left-hand sidebar making it easier to navigate to specific sections.
The sidebar remains in place, even as the user moves through all the lesson content. This is ideal for larger in-depth courses that have lots of lessons and modules, as it allows users to instantly click on the content they want rather than having to click through multiple screens.
