Google Slides allows you to send personalized certificates of completion to Kajabi customers using Zapier.

Zapier automatically sends the certificates when a customer completes a course or passes a quiz.

Key Takeaways:

  • Create a certificate in Google Slides and send to your Kajabi customers
  • Google Slides and Kajabi don’t natively integrate, so use Zapier
  • Google Slides aren’t required as Kajabi has built-in personalized certificates of completion

How Can I Use Google Slides with Kajabi?

Google Slides can be used to design and create personalized certificates of completion.

You can then use Kajabi Automations and Zapier to automatically send the certificate to customers who complete a course.

The process works as follows:

  1. The customer completes a Kajabi course or quiz.
  2. A tag is added when the customer completes the course or quiz.
  3. The Kajabi tag triggers a Zap.
  4. Google Slides is triggered to create a presentation from the template.
  5. An outbound email is sent from Zapier to the customer, which includes the certificate of completion.

As this is a multi-step zap, a premium Zapier account is required. This costs $19.99 per month for 750 tasks per month.

However, Kajabi now has personalized certificates of completion built-in, so you don’t need to pay for Zapier or design the certificate on Google Slides.

Kajabi certificates are quicker to set up and far easier to use than the multi-step process of using Google Slides.

  • Title of New Presentation – This is the title that the user will see. You can add a personalized element to the title by clicking the field and selecting “Contact Name” and then entering the rest of your title. E.g., Contact Name – Certificate
  • Is Shared? – Select “Yes” or “No.” By clicking “Yes,” it will allow users to download the certificate.
  • Template Presentation – This is where you choose the certificate you created.

Once you select the certificate, any variable fields you created using the curly brackets will display. In this example, we used the variable {{name}} to personalize the certificate. However, if you added more variables, these will display here.
