The Starter plan doesn’t include any features, and the Pro Trainer plan only has limited access to features.

Add a Video Learning Activity

  1. Locate the course you want to add the Interactive Video to.
  2. Click on the Contents tab.
  3. Select the section you want to add the video to.
  4. Click Add Activity.
  5. Choose Interactive Video under the Multimedia menu.
  6. Click Save and Edit.

Once you’ve added the activity, you can select the video you want to make interactive.

  1. Add a description and icon under the Course Player Details.
  2. Under Choose Video File, choose one of four options. 
  • From Course Video Library – Use a video already uploaded into this course. You can add a video with this option if you haven’t uploaded the video yet.
  • From Vimeo – Choose a video from Vimeo and add it by entering the ID (the ID is the number that comes after the / in the URL, e.g., Vimeo.com/123456789. The ID would be 123456789).
  • From Wistia – Choose a video on Wistia and add it by entering the ID.
  • From All School Video – This will display all of the videos currently in your school. You can select a video from here.
  1. Click Save.

After you have added the activity and chosen a video file, you can choose to add an interaction.
  1. Hover over the video learning activity you just added. 
  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Select Add Interaction from the side menu. There are four options to choose from. 
  • Buttons – Use a button for a customer to click. This button can open a link, show a message, or move the learner to another section in the video.
  • Offers – Add a purchase offer or discount to encourage sales.
  • Questions – Use a question related to the content to keep the learner focused.
  • Embed – Copy and paste an embeddable code here.
  1. After you have chosen which element to add, a box will appear. You can edit the following aspects of the element:
  • Start and End Time
  • Format Element
  • General Behavior
  • Action When Clicked
  • Add Intro Animation
  1. After making your edits, click Save.

  2. Click Add Text. There are five options to choose from.
  3. Labels – Add a label to emphasize a keyword.
  • Lower Thirds – Add additional information in the lower third of the video.
  • Section Titles – Add a title to separate a section.
  • Half Screen Titles – Cover half of the screen’s width with a title.
  • Personal Info – Share personal details.
  1. After you have chosen which type of text to add, a box will appear. You can edit the following aspects of the text:

  1. After you have chosen the image to add, a box will appear. You can edit the same information available to you for editing text:

  1. After making your edits, click Save.

Create a Table of Contents

  1. Hover over the video learning activity you just added. 
  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Click Table of Contents. 
  4. Add your first heading. 
  5. Edit the time frame and settings.
  6. Continue to add headings and set up the table of contents.
  7. Click Save.

Add Thumbnail

  1. Hover over the video learning activity you just added. 
  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Click Thumbnail. There are three options to choose from:
  • Use First Frame – This uses the first frame in your video as your thumbnail.
  • Use Current Frame – Select any frame in the video to become your thumbnail.
  • Upload Thumbnail – Upload your own image to use as your thumbnail.
  1. Click Save.

  1. Hover over the video learning activity you just added. 
  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Click Subtitles. There are two options for adding subtitles. 

Option 1:

Upload Subtitles – Upload your subtitles using a SRT file. You can use this option to upload subtitles in the video’s language and also offer multilingual subtitles.

  1. Select the language of your subtitles from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click Select SRT File and choose the file you want to add.
  3. Click Upload Subtitles.
  4. Click Save.
Option 2: Autogenerate Subtitles – These will automatically generate the subtitles in the language of the video.
  1. Click on Autogenerate and select the language of the video.
  2. Press Transcribe.
  1. Proofread the subtitles to confirm everything is correct.
  2. Once you are satisfied with the subtitles, change the Draft button to Public.
  3. Click Save.

You can edit, replace, or generate transcripts, and download or delete subtitles using the icons next to them.

You can only have one set of subtitles per language.

During their interaction with the content, students will be able to select which subtitles appear or choose to turn off the subtitles.

The transcript translates the audio of your video into written text. Students are then able to read along with your video online. The transcript is interactive, so if they click on any word, they will be taken to that section of the video. Students are also able to download the transcript.

  1. Hover over the video learning activity you just added. 
  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Select Interactive Transcript.
  4. Click Autogenerate.
  5. Select the language of your video and click Transcribe.
  1. Proofread and edit the transcription.
  2. Toggle the option to Public once you are happy with the transcript.
  3. Click Save.

Use the icons to generate and download the transcript or reset and clear the transcript’s formatting.
Students can choose three options for the transcript:

  • Transcript Off
  • Fit to Window
  • Full Transcript

Add Watermarks

Add Watermarks

Use watermarks to help protect your video from copyright violators.

You can set your watermark preferences by clicking Settings, then School Settings, and Copyright Protection. If you want to learn how to do this, check out “How to Download Videos in LearnWorlds.”

Once you have added your watermark preferences, the selected watermark will automatically appear on your videos.

Within the Interactive Video Editor, you can decide if you want to remove the watermark or restore the video to the default settings.

  1. Hover over the video learning activity you just added.
  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Select Watermark.
  4. Choose your watermark preference.

If you want to remove it, select Remove Watermark.

If you previously removed the watermark and want to add it again, select Inherit Watermark Settings.

  1. Click Save.

Add Player Skin

  2. Click Edit Video.
  3. Select Player Skin.

  2. Click Save.

You can update the default video player skin to customize the style of the video player. Go to Settings, then click Video, and then Player Appearance. Select the option that will be most reflective of your brand and school.
