If you’re a user of ClickFunnels Classic, you’re in luck! GoHighLevel has a super convenient way to import your content to its platform.
I’ve also found an easy way to import contact lists—no matter which version of ClickFunnels you use.
Key Takeaways:
- It is only possible to import ClickFunnels Classic funnels and pages
- GoHighLevel has not yet developed a ClickFunnels 2.0 page importer
- Import contact lists by creating and uploading a CSV file
Why Importing ClickFunnels to GoHighLevel Was Good for My Business
When I started using GoHighLevel, I quickly realized it could do everything that ClickFunnels can do, so, in theory, it wasn’t worth paying for both platforms.
The problem was that I had already built a ton of content in ClickFunnels, and I did not want to create it all again from scratch in GoHighLevel.
Besides the job being extremely time-consuming, I didn’t want to tamper with my existing funnels and jeopardize my conversion rates.
But then, I stumbled upon the solution of importing my ClickFunnels content into GoHighLevel, and that instantly solved my dilemma!
What Can You Import?
Now, this is important. I had been a long-time user of ClickFunnels, so I was signed up to the original ClickFunnels Classic 1.0. Since then, the platform has had a makeover and upgraded itself to ClickFunnels 2.0.
Unfortunately, GoHighLevel hasn’t yet caught up to this and currently only offers the ability to import pages from ClickFunnels Classic.
If you subscribe to ClickFunnels 2.0, you’ll have to play the waiting game since GoHighLevel has not yet developed page-importing capabilities for the updated platform.
For ClickFunnels Classic, however, GoHighLevel lets you import all your funnel pages.
And there is a trick I’ll show you that’s ideal for importing your contact data for either version of the ClickFunnels platform.
How I Migrated ClickFunnels Funnels to GoHighLevel in 4 Steps
Step 1: Open up your funnel or page in your browser and copy the live link.
Step 2: Head into the relevant sub-account in GoHighLevel. Select “Sites,” “Funnels,” and “New Funnel.”
Step 3: Pick to create a blank funnel, give it a name, and then click “Create.”
Step 4: Click to add a new funnel step, then paste your ClickFunnels URL in the “Import from ClickFunnels” field. Hit “Create funnel step,” and the system will work its magic and copy the page over.
Now, repeat the same process for all your remaining funnel pages. It’s as easy as that!
After importing them, you can open the GoHighLevel page editor and customize the pages as needed.
Quickly Import ClickFunnels Contacts and Leads to GoHighLevel
Contact lists are worth their weight in gold, so you’ll be pleased to hear you don’t have to lose the lists you have built up in ClickFunnels.
All it takes to import them is to download a CSV file from ClickFunnels and upload it into GoHighLevel.
Step 1: Go into the contacts tab of your ClickFunnels account. Above your list of contacts, you’ll see a little checkbox—click to check it.
Now, this will only select the first page of your contacts. If you want to import all of them, click the “Select all” text to the right of the checkbox.
Step 2: Click “Bulk actions” and select “Export” from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Select which data fields you’d like exported and click “Create export action.”
Step 4: Once the export action has ended, you’ll get the option to download it. After clicking to download, a CSV file will download onto your device.
Step 5: Go back to your GoHighLevel sub-account and click on “Contacts.” Then, click on the import icon found above your contact list.
Step 6: Drag and drop the CSV file into the space provided and click “Next.”
Step 7: You must now map the contact fields. This just involves matching the contact field boxes with the information listed on the left. Email address > email address, first name > first name, etc. Click “Next” when you’re done.
Step 8: Finally, check the tiny box that says “Create a list of contacts from the export,” click the confirmation box, and click “Submit.”
Wait a few moments (the bigger the list, the longer the import will take). Once the import is complete, all your contact data will be listed and ready for use in GoHighLevel.
