Banned on PayPal for using Kajabi
Quote from Guest on June 6, 2024, 9:52 amI've received an email from PayPal saying that "You can't use PayPal anymore."
Has anyone else faced this? I can log in into the account, but I can't receive any payments. They also say that they'll hold any money in my balance for 180 days which is shocking!

Quote from susante on June 6, 2024, 10:17 amHave you had an increase in disputes or chargebacks recently? I think they have a certain % threshold, they'll suspend your account if you reach that. The same applies to Stripe and I've heard that they've been suspending some Kajabi creator accounts. Regarding the threshold, it's important to set periodic transfers to your bank account, so large sums are not being held in PayPal.

Quote from Janette on June 10, 2024, 11:39 amHi there,
PayPal is notorious for doing this. It happened to me before for a completely different reason (and unrelated to Kajabi).
Fortunately, PayPal's customer service team is very responsive. If you contact them via phone, they will explain the reason why and tell you what you need to do. In my case, they wanted me to resubmit my identity verification documents. Once that was done, they reactivated my accounts. The money was held for a whole longer but it was definitely a lot less than 180 days.
