Membership system for hosting and selling pre-recorded content that is restricted to paid participants
Quote from Guest on August 30, 2024, 12:27 amWith HighLevel can I create a membership system for hosting and selling a two day online event with pre-recorded content that is restricted to paid / enrolled participants (customers) as follows:
#1. Enrolment will be free or under $10. This will be my lead magnet.
#2. Enrolment day is day1 but they would only get access to a Event_Index page showing 5 sessions in each of the 2 days.
#3. Upon enrolment, an email needs to be sent out to Welcome them and confirm that their access to “DAY 1” will be in 2 days (showing the specific date and a link to the Event_Index page that has a login with userID / Password to grant access to that page)
#4. The day before their AccessDate to the “DAY 1” sessions an email must be sent to prompt them to attend the event DAY 1 sessions.
#5. When DAY 1 has arrived, at this point, the Event_Index page enables the links for each of the 5 sessions on DAY 1. Access is only for 24 hours.
#6. When DAY 2 arrives, the customer would have received an email prompting them to attend the Event_Index page and get access to the DAY 2 list of events (pre-recorded content). Access to the DAY 2 content is only for 24 hrs.
#7. I will present an upsell to give the customer 1 year access to the event content,EXAMPLE:
(a) When Joe enrolls on Sept.01, he will have access to “DAY 1” content on Sept.03 for 24 hours only. If Bob enrolls on Sept.20, his “DAY 1” Access_Start_Date will be Sept 22. Each newly enrolled customer will have their “DAY 1” Access_Start_Date respect the Drip: 3 setting. I need a way to show each customer’s upcoming Access_Start_Date in outbout eails (enrolment confirmation) and on the summit index web page.Do you have an ability to embed a field in outbound emails (such as a confirmation email upon enrollment, then another email to prompt that their access will begin for their DAY 1 on the following day?
(b) Joe will have access to “DAY 2” content on Sept.04 for 24 hours only. Again, I need to send an email to prompt the customer to with a link to their DAY 2 content. Remember that Joe and Bob will have their DAY 1 and DAY 2 on different dates.
(c) In my confirmation emails and on the Summit Sessions page and the sessions pages, I need to show Joe the actual Access_Start_Date for each of DAY 1 and DAY 2. (Not the purchase date).

Quote from Janette on September 3, 2024, 8:33 amHi there, all of this is possible by using the HighLevel workflows feature. You can set up an automated workflow that gives and removes access to course material and also sends out email reminders and confirmations at set intervals. For emails, you can add custom dynamic fields that display the dates and personalized info according to each individual purchase.
So, when someone enters the workflow, they will move through it automatically until they reach the end which I assume will be your upsell.
Even if you have multiple individuals entering your workflow at different times and days, they will move through the workflow according to how you set it up.
Workflows is probably the most complex feature in HighLevel so it takes a bit of a learning curve. I recommend looking at the "recipes" (prebuilt templates for common workflows) which you will find when you click on the feature inside your account. This is a good place to start to familiarize yourself with them.
Also, check out HighLevel's support portal on how to use the feature and all its tools: https://help.gohighlevel.com/support/solutions/48000455132
Let me know if you have any other questions!
