What Teachable Course Themes Are Available?
It’s important to understand that Teachable doesn’t have prebuilt themes. Instead, it offers two design templates that you can use for your courses.
The font and colors are the same for both, but the layout changes depending on which one you choose.
Teachable Colossal Theme
This is the design template that is automatically assigned when you first create a course. It provides a complete view of your course content and curriculum and also displays your author bio on the same page. This template is suited for longer courses.
Teachable Simple Theme
The Simple view is a more concise layout and features tabs along the top of the page that users can click on to view the information. This template is better for shorter courses.
What Can Be Modified in Teachable Themes?
You will also find some customizable theme options for your school. To access it, select “Sites” and then “Theme.”
Here you can add and customize elements to allow a branded and cohesive look across your entire school:
- Logo and Branding: Add your brand logo, school thumbnail image, and favicon.
- Fonts: Pick which font you want to use throughout your school and courses.
- Color Palette: Select from four preset palettes or create a custom palette.
