How to Install New Zenler Templates?
Picking a New Zenler template is only half of the work; the next step is to install it. All of the theme templates are responsive and easy to customize. Think of the template packs as foundations for your incredible masterpiece.
The first step is to download the theme pack of your choice. You can do this by:
- Head to the course access page
- Scroll down until you find the theme you want
- You can choose to preview it first and then hit download
The file will be compressed as a zip file and downloaded into your Downloads folder.
To use the theme, you will need to unzip it.
Now you get to the installation part, which is the same for any theme you pick.
- Open the unzipped folder, where you will see the theme page divided up into blocks.
- You can choose to use the whole page or a specific block
- You will notice a document with the theme code within the folder. Open it up
- The code splits into different blocks that correspond to the pictures of each
- Find the block you want to use, select the code, then copy it into the “Blank Page” option in the “Pages” section of your New Zenler site.
- Type the name of the template in the URL section and then click “Add” on the bottom right-hand corner of the page
- Once you head to your page, if you don’t see a block at the top of the page, you can choose to add one by clicking “Blocks.”
- Open up the tag by mousing over the upper right-hand corner of the block, delete the existing code and paste the code for your theme, and then click “Save.”
- You can then preview your site. Repeat the above steps for the rest of the blocks
