Teachable has a fast and easy signup process that requires no upfront payment. You instantly get access to a 14-day free trial of a paid plan of your choosing, and once this has ended, you can either pay or downgrade to the free plan.
How to Sign Up for Teachable (Step by Step)
Step 1: To sign up for the Teachable free plan, click on the “Start for Free” button in the top right-hand corner of the Teachable home page.
Step 2: On the next page, add your full name, email address, and set up a password.
Step 3: Next, Teachable will ask you some questions about you and your business.
However, it’s not necessary to answer these if you don’t want to. Simply scroll to the bottom and click “Next.”
Step 4: You will now run through a series of setup options. Complete each page and click “Continue” after each one.
You will be asked to give your school a name, select the font and colors, and read some information about how Teachable works.
Step 5: The final setup screen explains the benefits of Teachable Pro.
If you click on “Got It,” the system will sign you up for a 14-day free trial of this plan, after which you’ll pay $159/month if you choose to continue.
If you would prefer to trial a different plan, you need to click “Explore Plans” instead.
Step 6: You will be taken to a screen where you can select which paid plan you want to try.
Have a look at the options and decide which one you want. When you’re ready, click “Upgrade” on the relevant plan to confirm.
Don’t forget that the free plan is limited, so you will lose access to some features and plan limits when you downgrade.
