Using WhatsApp with GoHighLevel works in much the same way as texting and SMS. You must first purchase phone numbers to use with each of your GoHighLevel subaccounts. You can do this in one of two ways:

  • Use LC – Phone System: Purchase a phone number directly from GoHighLevel’s new phone provision service.
  • Use Twilio: Directly integrate third-party provider Twilio with GoHighLevel and purchase a phone number. If you have existing Twilio numbers, you can migrate these across to GoHighLevel.

To send a WhatsApp message to any of your contacts, all you do is select Contacts from the left-hand menu and choose which contacts you want to send the message to.

If you send a WhatsApp message to multiple contacts at once, you can choose to send it to everyone in one go or set it to “drop mode.” 

This gradually sends the message to everyone in batches and, by doing so, helps control the volume of messages to prevent the server from becoming overloaded.

All your WhatsApp conversations can be viewed and replied to by selecting Conversations from the left-hand menu. 

Here you can view the entire WhatsApp thread for each individual contact and write and send tailored responses.

  1. WhatsApp automation is not something that most of the Go High Level support team don’t know anything about. Your links to learn more don’t add any light to the subject as simply take you to a login page. Already a GHL member so this was pretty useless
