ClickFunnels 2.0 Review at a Glance
To help you know if the new and upgraded ClickFunnels is for you, we’ve given it our ratings for the three categories below:
The ClickFunnels 2.0 software offers almost all the features you could ever ask for. It lets you quickly set up and sell digital products, list physical products, capture leads, and sell subscriptions.Â
Moreover, you can deliver digital products through the membership site area.Â
After a customer has purchased from you, an account is created for them to access all of their purchases through the portal.
One small downside is that compared to some other platforms, ClickFunnels 2.0 lacks community and podcasting features, therefore we rated it 4.7/5.
Navigation and asset creation are very intuitive.Â
For each feature and tool used we were shown pop-ups with clear instructions, making the creation of funnels, emails, and courses straightforward.
In addition, all of the site’s builders use drag-and-drop editors, which means that making changes and edits was very simple – there was no learning required.
If you ever get stuck, you can refer to the platform’s Academy, read their documentation guides, or speak to their helpful support team.
ClickFunnels 2.0 has three subscription plans, which range in price between $147 – $297 per month.Â
Although we think that the price is on the high side, you do get access to dozens of powerful features.Â
So, if you’re going to fully utilize the tools it provides in your business, it offers great value for money.Â
However, if you’re looking to use just one or two of the features, you should consider a more cost-effective alternative.
For these reasons, we would give ClickFunnels 2.0 a price rating of 4.2/5 stars.

- Easy to Use – It has an intuitive user interface, and also provides extensive support through its Academy and Support Desk.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Cons
Although there are many pros to the platform, there are also cons that you should be aware of when considering if it’s right for you:
- Expensive – The minimum priced plan is $147 per month, which is expensive if you’re just getting started using the platform.
- Limited core features – Many businesses will consider that they have no option but to go for one of the higher-priced plans to access API integrations, more domains, and have fewer limits on what they can create.
- Time-consuming – Due to the number of features and tools, it can take a while to get familiar with the software and be confident using it. However, once you’re over the learning curve, it will become second nature.
- Page loading times – Although the platform claims to have improved page loading times, some users are still reporting it to be an issue. This could potentially affect bounce and conversion rates.
How is ClickFunnels 2.0 Different from ClickFunnels Classic?
ClickFunnels 2.0 was officially launched at the end of 2022, and with it came a range of new features and significant improvements, including:
- E-Commerce Store
- Course Builder
- Membership Sites
- Customer Center
- CRM
- Blog
- Cart Funnels
These features will allow users to expand into new verticals by selling membership access, creating a complete e-commerce store experience, and improving client management with a CRM system.
Other notable changes are the improvements to existing features, such as:
- Email Marketing
- Funnel Builder
- Page Editor
- Templates
- Collaboration
- Loading Speeds
- Universal Elements
The series of targeted improvements are focused on moving ClickFunnels away from simply being a funnel builder to providing just about everything an individual would require to market and sell their products online.
ClickFunnels 2.0 Review of Features
Sales Funnels
We only found minor changes to the sales funnels when trialing ClickFunnels 2.0.Â
The visual funnel flow builder is one tool that has been added to the platform. Instead of mapping your funnel flows on paper, you can use the platform’s page to bring your ideas to life.
Another new tool that we found helpful was the updated Templates and Recipes.Â
If we ever got stuck with ideas when creating new pages, we could use one of them for inspiration or as a blank template.
Other features that we liked are:
- Intuitive builder
- Upsells
- Funnel Hub
- Add both physical and digital products
- Sell subscriptions
Landing Pages
When using ClickFunnels 2.0, we found many Landing Page templates and designs spanning different categories, making creating them simple for all businesses.
Some example templates that you can use to create compelling landing pages are:
- Opt-in
- Sales
- Order
- Upsell/Downsell
- Order Confirmation
- Webinar Registration
We like that after selecting a template, you can customize it to fit your brand and messaging.Â
This is done using the drag-and-drop elements within the landing page builder.
Once completed, you can link your landing page to the platform’s workflow tool to automate your marketing.Â
For example, if a lead signs up for your webinar, they are emailed the link.
Website
Unlike its legacy platform, ClickFunnels 2.0 has a website builder, not just a page editor.Â
The new features let you create complete sites that would have previously required technical knowledge or the use of multiple platforms.
We tested adding product pages, storefronts, about us pages, blogs, memberships, and courses on one site.
Additional website features that were useful included:
- Email opt-in forms
- Contact forms
- Webinar embeds
- Drag-and-drop editor
- Page loading speed optimization
Online Courses
The platform’s new online course feature lets you create modules, lessons, and keep track of your students.
When we created a course, we started by making a module.Â
We then added lessons to it and categorized it further by setting up a sub-module.
Other course features we tried out:
- Drip Content and Scheduling – We liked that if you want to break up and stop students from consuming all of your course content at once, you can drip-feed it.
- Course Management – You can grant and revoke customer access to your courses as well as see who has completed what lesson.
- Note-Taking – Another handy tool was adding notes to lessons for you to refer back to. One way to use this is to note improvements and changes you could make when updating the content.
E-commerce Store
Another new feature that we vetted was the E-commerce Store which lets you list and sell physical and digital products on your site.
We found that the checkout speed had increased greatly compared to ClickFunnels’ legacy funnel checkout.Â
Other features we liked when trialing the platform were one-click upsells and subscription offerings.Â
Subscriptions can greatly increase your customer LTV (lifetime value) for products such as supplements.
Additional e-commerce features:
- Product page customization
- Pricing
- Multiple products and variations
- Inventory management
- Discounts
CRM
The platform has now added a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) feature. This tool is extremely helpful for business owners that rely on generating and nurturing leads.
On its legacy platform, you have to use a third-party CRM and integrate it. As it’s now built-in, creating sales pipelines is much simpler.
Once a contact has opted into your funnel or purchased a product, you will be able to view and add the following:
- Contact information
- Notes
- Marketing flows
- Orders
- Products purchased
- Enrollments
Another CRM feature we tested was the Segment and Tag features, which allow you to organize your contacts effectively.Â
This is really useful if you’re running a large lead generation campaign.
Membership Sites
ClickFunnels 2.0 allows you to offer membership site access to customers.Â
The members-only area can include new courses, updated content, and digital downloadables.
One thing we like about offering a membership site is that it’s a way of generating recurring revenue.
However, when comparing this feature to other membership site platforms, we noticed that the platform doesn’t offer a community feature.Â
So, if you build your membership site on ClickFunnels 2.0 and want to sell access to a community, this would have to be hosted on another platform.
Customer Center
The ClickFunnels 2.0 Customer Center is the customer’s homepage.Â
Any digital item purchased from you will become available within the Customer Center for the individual to access.
For example, if a customer made several one-off purchases from you, such as an ebook and two different courses, these would be available on their Customer Center homepage.
We thought this feature was a great addition to ClickFunnels 2.0 as it enables easy and secure access to purchased products.
Global Products
Another ClickFunnels 2.0 feature we thought was a great addition was Global Products.Â
This allowed us to create a product once and then list it anywhere, so we were able to add it to our e-commerce store, funnels, and membership site without having to recreate it.
Previously, when we were managing a store with many products, we had to recreate the product for each new funnel related to it.Â
In this section, you can create discount codes, manage automatic discounts, and set the pricing.
These additional features are a significant improvement and make product management far simpler.
Email Marketing
The platform has improved its email marketing features by adding several new tools, including split testing and advanced logic.Â
These advancements helped us optimize our emails using A/B testing and allowed us to create more personalized flows to email sequences.
Other email marketing features available:
- Templates
- Automated sequences
- Behavior tagging
It’s great that unlimited email sequences have been made a core feature, so you can now create them without having to purchase a more expensive plan.
Blog
ClickFunnels 2.0 includes a new blog feature that allows users to create a full blog and integrate it into their website.
When we previously tested the legacy product, to integrate a blog we would have had to use another platform, such as WordPress and then link it, so this is a welcome change.
We found the builder to contain all of the necessary features to create a great-looking blog, and they have also thought about text optimization by including SEO page titles and page description boxes for you to use.
One downside we noted was that blog posts have to be written outside of the platform and then copied and pasted in, as you need to add paragraph and text elements as you go.Â
If using WordPress, for instance, this could be frustrating.
If you run a business focused on blogging, then ClickFunnels 2.0 will probably not be the right platform, but if you’re looking to post a few informative posts now and again for your customers, it’s a useful addition.
ClickFunnels Editor
The ClickFunnels 2.0 Editor is the generic term the platform refers to for customizing sites, funnels, and landing pages – it’s the drag-and-drop builder tool.
The tool was straightforward to use and no coding knowledge was required to customize our content.Â
What we liked about ClickFunnels’ 2.0 Editor is that the software has guides for you to follow, in fact, they have almost 1,000 in-depth articles with video and written instructions.
Workflows
The platform’s Workflow feature is another example of a great tool we found on ClickFunnels 2.0.
We used it to create platform automation and bring all the different elements of marketing and sales together.
It works by using ‘Triggers’ and ‘Actions.’ For example, if someone has opted into your webinar registration form, you can automate the marketing and delivery using workflows.
The tool was easy to use and the layout made it straightforward to see what would happen after an action or trigger occurred.
If you use any third-party software and want to integrate it, you will still need to use Zapier. From that perspective, you could argue that this feature is lacking for larger companies.
A/B Testing
To help users improve their offers and find exactly what is (and isn’t) working, ClickFunnels 2.0 lets you A/B test almost all elements and assets, including the following:
- Funnel pages
- Landing pages
- Offers
- Workflows
- Emails
When we tested the feature, we found it of some value.Â
For instance, when looking at one of our offers, we could test two different funnel pages and find the best-performing one.Â
This tool enabled us to continually improve the offer by testing on-page elements.
Although it is a helpful tool, the testing iterations were relatively slow because we were only able to test two things against each other simultaneously.Â
There are other tools on the market that allow you to test numerous options and then the software learns how to create the best offer.
Analytics
ClickFunnels 2.0 has upgraded its analytics suite to include data dashboards for its new products, as well as improving its existing tools.
The platform now allows you to track many data points live, including site visitors, conversion rates, A/B results, and orders.Â
The real-time analytics tools were accurate when we compared the live data to Shopify’s e-commerce dashboard.
Other analytics features we liked:
- All landing pages, funnels, emails, and assets are tracked and reported on
- Detailed course analytics show who has viewed each lesson, student progress, and completion rates
- The analytics data is displayed in an easy-to-read manner and no exporting is required
Who is ClickFunnels 2.0 For?
After thoroughly reviewing the platform and its features, we’ve compiled a list of businesses that could potentially grow their customer base and revenue using ClickFunnels 2.0.
- Restaurants – Can use the platform to create a complete online presence, including a website that can be linked to Google, take bookings, accept inbound inquiries, schedule reservations, and import contacts to its CRM.
- E-Commerce – businesses can now create e-commerce stores on the platform and list unlimited products. Moreover, they can automate their marketing to deliver abandoned carts, order confirmations, and promotional emails.
- Real Estate Agents – The platform allows agents to advertise their services, accept inquiries, list available properties, and generate leads.Â
- Dentists – Dental practices can potentially benefit from ClickFunnels 2.0 by creating lead generation funnels and landing pages, scheduling appointments, booking confirmation and reminders, and building a website to advertise their services.
- Mortgage Brokers – Could use ClickFunnels 2.0 to build their website and capture and manage leads.
- Affiliate Marketing – The primary way affiliates can use the platform is by building compelling landing pages and funnels to drive traffic. Marketing email sequences and workflows could all be automated to reduce time and improve efficiency.
ClickFunnels 2.0 Cost Review
When you subscribe to ClickFunnels 2.0, you have three plans to choose from: the Basic Plan, the Pro Plan, and the Funnel Hacker Plan.
Each plan contains different features and is priced accordingly; we’ve broken down all three below.
The Basic Plan Review
This is ClickFunnels’ entry-level plan, costing $147 per month. You can reduce the price to $127 per month if you decide to pay annually.
Unfortunately, the platform doesn’t offer any free or lower-priced options. We feel as if they could grow a lot more with a lower-priced offering for those that aren’t ready to commit to the Basic subscription plan.
However, if you’re ready for this plan and are going to use its wide range of features, we would consider it good value for money.
When you subscribe, you get access to all of the builders and elements, but some do have restrictions on your usage.Â
Here are the details:
- 1 Website
- 20 funnels
- 1 Admin User
- 1 Domain
- 3 Courses
- 1,000 Courses
- 10,000 Contacts
- Unlimited Workflows
- Unlimited Pages
- Unlimited Products
- Unlimited Email Sequences
- Basic Analytics
- CF1 Maintenance
- Mode Plan
We would like to see additional domains and courses for the entry-level plan, but it is more than enough to get started.
The Pro Plan Review
The mid-range option offered by the platform is the Pro Plan at $197 per month, or $157 per month when paid annually.
This is the minimum recommended plan for businesses that want to create multiple courses, run lead generation agencies, and need API integrations.
In addition to the Basic Analytics and unlimited Workflows, Pages, Products, and Email Sequences, the Pro Plan gives you access to:
- 1 website
- 100 Funnels
- 5 Admin Users
- 3 Domains
- 15 Courses
- 10,000 Students
- 25,000 Contacts
- Affiliate Program
- API Access
- ShareFunnels
- Liquid Theme Editor
- CF1 Maintenance Mode Plan
This would be suitable for a growing solopreneur or established business considering using the platform. However, given that you can create 100 funnels, have multiple admin users, and 25,00 contacts, it isn’t best suited to a small company or local business.
The Funnel Hacker Plan Review
ClickFunnels’ premier subscription plan is the Funnel Hacker Plan, costing $297 per month, or $208 per month when paid annually.
When you subscribe to the plan, the features either become unlimited or are available in greater numbers, for example, you’ll have:
- 3 Websites
- Unlimited Funnels
- 15 Admin Users
- 9 Domains
- 200 Courses
- 20,000 Students
- 200,000 Contacts
- Advanced Analytics
Due to how much content you can create and the number of contacts and students you can enroll, this should be purchased by large established businesses.
If you’re running a business that sells dozens of courses and has over 10,000 students enrolled, we consider the subscription price for the Hacker Plan to be fantastic value for money given its potential revenue generation.
Subscription Plan | Monthly Price | Annual Price (monthly) | Monthly Saving |
---|---|---|---|
The Basic Plan | $147 | $127 | $20 |
The Pro Plan | $197 | $157 | $40 |
The Funnel Hacker Plan | $297 | $208 | $89 |
