Types of Emails You Can Send with Systeme.io
Systeme.io email marketing consists of two main types: manual marketing (in this case referred to as Newsletters) and automatic marketing (referred to here as Campaigns).
Each of these two types has advantages and to get the best results you’ll probably want to use a mix of the two.
A Systeme.io email campaign sends a sequence of emails automatically to your contact list over a predetermined period of time, or following a set of predetermined triggers. Some campaigns you might wish to set up are:
Make a great first impression in your first direct communication with a subscriber. Congratulate them on becoming a subscriber and guide them through their next steps.
Use this sequence of emails to gradually and consistently increase subscriber understanding of the value of your product or service. You could use this to turn a free trial into a paid subscription.
Reminding your customers that their subscription will expire soon with a series of emails will help put your product or service at the forefront of their minds. This gives them (and you) a chance to resolve any issues that they might have, and reminds them of the value your services or product represents.
Abandoned Cart Emails
Sending a single email, or series of emails, that display the details of a product or service that a customer placed in their shopping cart and then abandoned, is a great way to convert a strong lead into a sale. To really close the deal you could include offers of free shipping, free trials, and discount codes.
Improved Sales Emails
You could give your customers the opportunity to buy additional items related to their original purchase with upsell and cross-sell sales emails, boosting your customer’s lifetime sales value.
Use event email campaigns to promote scheduled events, remind customers to attend, and advise how to prepare for them. You can also use them to request feedback about an event and upsell products and services.
A Systeme.io newsletter is typically a long-form email designed to provide informational content to your contact list. It’s less about the hard sell than it is about providing information and keeping your contacts engaged with you, your product or service, and your brand.
Its goals are to keep your contact list coming back for more, and re-engage inactive contacts.
One great way to get the best out of newsletter marketing is to segment your contact list based on the information you already have on them. This could be previous purchase history, age, gender, location, or any other information that you’ve already collected, and that you feel is relevant to your business. Tailor your newsletters to make them feel more personalized to each of those segments.
It will drive more traffic to your business.
