- GoHighLevel snapshots are “done for you” sub-accounts related to a specific industry

- Create and sell GoHighLevel snapshots or buy them from third-party sources
What Are GoHighLevel Snapshots?
GoHighLevel snapshots are essentially a template used for creating a new sub-account and saves you the effort of having to create everything from scratch.
Let’s say you’ve already taken on an insurance broker as a client and have set up their sub-account with marketing campaigns, email campaigns, a website, and more.
You then take on another insurance broker as an additional client. Rather than build their sub-account from the ground up, you can create a “snapshot” of the existing client’s sub-account and import it into the new one.
This action carries over certain items, so they’re ready for you to edit and use in the new sub-account. Here’s a list of items that are carried over when you create a snapshot:
- Surveys and forms
- SMS and email templates
- SMS and email reputation management templates
- Custom fields and values for email, text, and form personalization
- Triggers and trigger links
- Membership courses and products
- Teams, tags, and folders
It’s important to understand that while you can use snapshots to import a great deal of useful information over to a new sub-account, the action will not transfer any contact and lead data, including conversation records or analytical and reporting data.
You also cannot transfer any integrations, user details, or integrated domains.
Why Are GoHighLevel Snapshots Used?
Building campaigns, web pages, workflows, and CRM tools takes up a lot of time and effort. By using snapshots, you can effortlessly create a fully functioning sub-account in seconds.
So, instead of starting over and creating everything anew, you can take what you’ve already created and edit and tweak it so it can be used with the new sub-account.
Because of this, you can get started on the new client’s marketing and campaigns right away without them having to wait for you to develop new items. This provides added value to the client and means they can see the benefit of your service from the get-go.
To make things even easier and faster, GoHighLevel has created ready-made snapshots for common industries that are freely available for you to use. If you take on a new client in an industry you haven’t yet served, chances are, there is a snapshot already available on the GoHighLevel platform.
What Are Some Examples of GoHighLevel Snapshots?
GoHighLevel has around twenty different industry snapshots available for use. To find them, you must be in the Agency View of the GoHighLevel platform (not in a sub-account). Select Account Snapshots from the left-hand menu, and all the premade snapshots will be displayed.
Here you can toggle between GoHighLevel snapshots, imported snapshots, and your own snapshots.
GoHighLevel Attorney Snapshot
The attorney snapshot features an offer built around offering a free consultation call. The sales funnel has been fully created, and you also get Facebook ad examples that you can use to market your campaign.
GoHighLevel CrossFit Snapshot
The GoHighLevel CrossFit snapshot is a little more detailed and features two fully developed campaigns and associated landing pages.
The first campaign is centered around attracting new customers with a free week of CrossFit, and the second campaign targets previous customers and aims to regenerate interest via an offer.
GoHighLevel Marketing Agency Snapshot
The GoHighLevel marketing agency snapshot is geared towards those who want to market and sell the white-label GoHighLevel SaaS. The snapshot has several funnels, landing pages, and even a white-label YouTube video you can use to generate interest and get leads to book a demo.
How to Use GoHighLevel Snapshots
There are two ways to use GoHighLevel snapshots:
- Select a snapshot and use it to create a new sub-account
- Import a GoHighLevel snapshot into an existing sub-account
Using a snapshot to create a new account is straightforward. Choose the snapshot you want and click on the green Create New Account button in the top right-hand corner.
You will be asked to add the client information, such as business name, address, and contact details. Once you have done this, the new sub-account will be ready to use with the snapshot items included.
To load a snapshot into an existing sub-account, you need to be in the Agency View of the GoHighLevel platform. Select Sub-Accounts from the left-hand menu and find the sub-account you want to add the snapshot to.
Click on Manage Client. You will then see an Actions dropdown tab in the top right-hand corner. Click on this and select Load Snapshot.
You will then be presented with a dropdown list of all available snapshots, including all GoHighLevel snapshots, along with any you may have created yourself or purchased elsewhere.
Choose the snapshot you want from the list. Next, you can choose which items you want to import over. In other words, you don’t have to import the entire snapshot; you can just select one or two items if you wish.
Next, the system will check for any conflicts, and if there are none will allow you to confirm the snapshot import. Give the platform a moment or two and refresh the page. The snapshot data should be ready and waiting in the sub-account for you to use.
Create Your Own GoHighLevel Snapshots
If you want to use one of your existing sub-accounts as a snapshot, this is easy to set up and do.
Head to the Agency View of the GoHighLevel platform and select Settings from the left-hand menu. Next, click on Snapshot, then Create New Snapshot.
A drop-down menu will appear, listing all of your existing sub-accounts. Choose the one you want to use for a snapshot and provide a name for it. Hit Save and the snapshot will now be available to use in the Account Snapshots tab.

If GoHighLevel doesn’t have the right snapshot for your needs, you can head outside of the platform and find one to purchase. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, you can hire an expert to create one for you.
