GoHighLevel snapshots are “done-for-you” sub-account templates with campaigns, workflows, and other items already set up.

You can use them to create new sub-accounts or import them into existing ones.

GoHighLevel has industry snapshots available, plus you can create your own and buy or sell snapshots from third-party websites and sources.

Key Takeaways:

  • GoHighLevel snapshots are “done for you” sub-accounts related to a specific industry
  • Import snapshots into a new client account to instantly gain access
  • Create and sell GoHighLevel snapshots or buy them from third-party sources

What Are GoHighLevel Snapshots?

GoHighLevel snapshots are essentially a template used for creating a new sub-account and saves you the effort of having to create everything from scratch.

Let’s say you’ve already taken on an insurance broker as a client and have set up their sub-account with marketing campaigns, email campaigns, a website, and more.

You then take on another insurance broker as an additional client. Rather than build their sub-account from the ground up, you can create a “snapshot” of the existing client’s sub-account and import it into the new one.

This action carries over certain items, so they’re ready for you to edit and use in the new sub-account. Here’s a list of items that are carried over when you create a snapshot:

It’s important to understand that while you can use snapshots to import a great deal of useful information over to a new sub-account, the action will not transfer any contact and lead data, including conversation records or analytical and reporting data.

You also cannot transfer any integrations, user details, or integrated domains.

Why Are GoHighLevel Snapshots Used?

Why Are GoHighLevel Snapshots Used?

Building campaigns, web pages, workflows, and CRM tools takes up a lot of time and effort. By using snapshots, you can effortlessly create a fully functioning sub-account in seconds.

So, instead of starting over and creating everything anew, you can take what you’ve already created and edit and tweak it so it can be used with the new sub-account.

Because of this, you can get started on the new client’s marketing and campaigns right away without them having to wait for you to develop new items. This provides added value to the client and means they can see the benefit of your service from the get-go.

To make things even easier and faster, GoHighLevel has created ready-made snapshots for common industries that are freely available for you to use. If you take on a new client in an industry you haven’t yet served, chances are, there is a snapshot already available on the GoHighLevel platform.

To load a snapshot into an existing sub-account, you need to be in the Agency View of the GoHighLevel platform. Select Sub-Accounts from the left-hand menu and find the sub-account you want to add the snapshot to.

Click on Manage Client. You will then see an Actions dropdown tab in the top right-hand corner. Click on this and select Load Snapshot.

You will then be presented with a dropdown list of all available snapshots, including all GoHighLevel snapshots, along with any you may have created yourself or purchased elsewhere.

Choose the snapshot you want from the list. Next, you can choose which items you want to import over. In other words, you don’t have to import the entire snapshot; you can just select one or two items if you wish.

Next, the system will check for any conflicts, and if there are none will allow you to confirm the snapshot import. Give the platform a moment or two and refresh the page. The snapshot data should be ready and waiting in the sub-account for you to use.
