Creating assets for clients is time-consuming. That time could be better spent concentrating on making more money.

Thankfully, GoHighLevel snapshots have made this process a whole lot easier. You can set clients up super fast and even use them to make a little cash on the side.

Key Takeaways:

What Are GoHighLevel Snapshots?

What Are GoHighLevel Snapshots?

GoHighLevel snapshots are your new best friend!

Rather than setting up a new sub-account completely from scratch, you can use a snapshot template instead.

These are premade sub-accounts that come filled and set up with everything you will likely need—for example, a sales funnel and pipelines, automated workflows, and custom offers.

Each snapshot is typically geared toward a specific industry niche, although you can find broader snapshots suitable for a variety of businesses.

To use a snapshot, simply load it into a sub-account, and you’re ready to rock.

What Types of Snapshots Are Available?

What Types of Snapshots Are Available?

GoHighLevel provides 26 snapshot templates for a variety of business niches, including:

  • Automotive
  • Finance
  • Business coaching and consulting
  • Health and beauty
  • Creative services
  • Marketing
  • And more
Automotive

Each snapshot comes with a bunch of premade assets such as a website, sales funnel, offers, and custom automations. There are also video and text setup guides that are easy to follow.

GoHighLevel also goes beyond general setup information and provides instructions on how to get quick wins from the snapshot and take it to the next level using advanced tools.

This is a big positive change from recent times. Although the platform has always had snapshots, their instructions were poor and outdated.

However, GoHighLevel has completely revamped this section of the platform, and I can confidently say it’s high-quality now.

How GoHighLevel Snapshots Save You Loads of Time

How GoHighLevel Snapshots Save You Loads of Time

Snapshots save you a lot of time because they are essentially an “out-of-the-box” solution with which you can hit the ground running.

Imagine if you had to create websites, funnels, and campaigns from scratch each and every time you take on a new client.

How long would that take you?

Instead, with a snapshot, all you do is load it up, tweak the assets a little to customize them, and that’s it. This is especially useful for complicated features like automation—having ready-to-go workflows makes the job so much easier.

Also, if you take on multiple clients within a certain industry, you can use your existing sub-accounts as snapshots and simply clone them. It’s super convenient.

Snapshots Are Key for Customizing GoHighLevel SaaS Products

If you want to sell GoHighLevel as SaaS, how do you differentiate yourself from the myriad of other people doing the same thing?

After all, if someone wants a platform like GoHighLevel, they can just go and get GoHighLevel, right?

The key to making your SaaS product stand out is loading it up with a snapshot geared toward your targeted business niche.

For example, Enrollio is a GoHighLevel SaaS product aimed at dance studios. It contains automated booking sequences and custom calendars to provide studio owners with a complete customized enrollment solution.

SalonOps is another example. Aimed at beauty salons and beauticians, it provides a GoHighLevel SaaS product along with its consulting services.

The platform contains hundreds of premade sales templates and other assets to help beauty business owners increase sales.

Selling GoHighLevel Snapshots: A Lucrative Side-Hustle

Selling GoHighLevel Snapshots: A Lucrative Side-Hustle

Snapshots can even make for a nice little side hustle. Plenty of people are out there already selling GoHighLevel snapshots, so they’re definitely in demand.

Let’s say you’ve created a snapshot that works well and has generated great client feedback.

This snapshot is worth its weight in gold!

You can now sell that snapshot to anyone else who wants it. People will pay upwards of $1,000 for a comprehensive and detailed snapshot, while simple ones will go for under $100.

You could even go one step further and provide customized snapshot services. Business owners will pay good money to have someone create precisely the assets they want for their GoHighLevel account.

Quick Guide: Create a GoHighLevel Snapshot in 4 Steps

Creating a snapshot is straightforward and takes a few seconds.

What takes time is building out the sub-account with all the necessary assets.

If you’re creating a snapshot from a tried and tested sub-account, you’re good to go. However, if you’ve created a brand new sub-account to use as one, make sure you thoroughly test everything first. Be sure to iron out any problems before you transform it into a snapshot.

Once you have a sub-account you want to use for a snapshot, all you have to do is follow these steps:

sub-account you want to use for a snapshot

Step 1: Log into your account’s Agency view and click “Account Snapshots.” Make sure you’re in the “My Snapshots” tab, and click “Create New Snapshot.”

Create New Snapshot

Step 2: Name the snapshot and select the relevant sub-account from the dropdown list. Click “Next.”

Next

Step 3: You will now be shown a list of all the assets you have within the sub-account that will be included in the snapshot. Take a quick look through, then click “Create.”

Step 4: The snapshot will be generated. This generation might take a few minutes, depending on how many assets need to be copied.

Refresh the page, and it will now appear listed under the “My Snapshots” tab.

Now, you can use it in new sub-accounts or export it for sale.

All the included assets will be present and ready for customization.

Step 1: Head into the “My Snapshots” tab and click the three dots to the right of the desired snapshot. Select “Share Snapshot.”

Step 2: Now, pick one of the options from the dropdown box:

  • Get Permanent Link: This generates a link that can be used unlimited times. Do NOT use this one for selling your snapshot. Only use it if you’re giving your snapshot away for free.
  • Get One-Time Share Link: This is the one you want for selling snapshots. The link can only be used once to import the snapshot, which prevents buyers from passing the link on to others.
  • Email share link: You can also use this one for selling snapshots. It imports a one-time link into an email you can send to your customers.

For Pro account holders only:

  • Agency Restricted Link: Securely share your snapshots with your other agencies for exclusive use.
  • Sub-Account Restricted: Share Snapshots for specific sub-accounts only.

Here’s How to Update Your Snapshots

Here’s How to Update Your Snapshots

You will likely need to update the snapshot every once in a while.

To do this, make the necessary changes to the sub-account, then head to the “Account Snapshots” tab in your Agency view.

Find the relevant snapshot in the “My Snapshots” tab, where you have two update options next to the three dots:

  • Circular arrow: This refreshes the snapshot and updates it to reflect any changes you’ve made.
  • Upwards arrow: This option pushes the updates to linked locations within your GoHighLevel account. In other words, if you’ve used the snapshot with other sub-accounts, they will automatically update with the new changes.

Before I finish, I feel it’s important to mention that you can’t include everything within a GoHighLevel snapshot—namely, people’s personal and business data and certain customizations.

So, while you can include any assets you’ve built, you can’t add the following into a snapshot:
