Currencies Supported by Kajabi
Kajabi is a global platform and therefore supports over 130 different currencies, including all major currencies such as USD, EUR, and GBP.
When you first get started on Kajabi, the default currency will be based on your location. However, you can change this whenever you like. You may also adjust the currency for each of your offers and products.
How to Change Your Default Currency in Kajabi
When you create your Kajabi account, you are required to add a business address. Kajabi uses this information to set your default currency. So if you are based in the US, your default currency will be USD; if you are based in Germany, your default currency will be EUR, and so on.
If you prefer to use a different currency for your default, this can be easily changed. All you do is click on Settings and select Site Details from the available options. Then scroll down until you see Default Currency. Select the currency you want to use, then scroll to the bottom of the page and hit Save.
Any products you create in Kajabi will now have your new default currency as standard.
How to Create a Multi-Currency Offer in Kajabi
It’s important to understand that Kajabi does not allow you to have multiple currency options during the checkout phase of your offer. You may only select a single currency for this.
If you want to make your Kajabi products available in different currencies, you must create multiple copies of the same offer and manually change the currency for each.
Let’s say you created a course and you charge for the course in USD. You now want to also make the course available in EUR.
First, you find the course in the Offers tab on your Kajabi dashboard. Next, click the three … located to the right of the course title. Now select Duplicate.
A second copy of your course will appear. Open it up and navigate to Offer Details, and scroll down until you see the Currency drop-down menu. Select the currency you want and hit Save.
It’s also a good idea to adjust the title of your course to reflect which currency you have for it. Otherwise, it’s easy to get confused if you have multiple versions of the same course in the Offers tab.
Connect Third-Party Payment Providers for Multi-Currency Offers
Kajabi has direct integrations for Paypal and Stripe, and while these are popular payment providers in the US, they are not necessarily used in other countries.
For example, iDEAL is a popular payment provider in the Netherlands, and Klarna is widely used throughout Europe.
If you want to make your offers available in different currencies, it’s a wise idea to set up the ability to pay via the relevant payment provider. This adds more value to customers, as it means they can purchase your product without having to sign up for Paypal or Stripe.
To offer these payment providers, you must use Zapier. This allows the Kajabi platform to connect with these third-party apps and enables you to take payments from them.
