Systeme.io lacks a dedicated website-building tool. Instead, you can create websites by using its sales funnel and blog-building features.

Both allow you to create full websites, with or without paid content and products.

Key Takeaways:

  • You can create blog and sales funnel sites in Systeme.io
  • Use the funnel-building feature to create a website to sell products
  • Connect with a payment provider to sell digital and physical products on your site

What Type of Website Can You Create in Systeme.io?

Systeme.io is a little different compared with similar platforms since it does not have a standalone website-building tool. However, you can still create websites: you just have to go about it a different way.

There are two options for creating websites in Systeme.io. You can either use its sales funnel feature or blogging tool.

Systeme.io Blog Sites

If you want to build a standard website, you can quickly create one using the platform’s blogging tool.

Essentially, you can do everything with the blog builder that you would want to do with a website, such as adding payment pages, opt-in forms, pop-ups, and more. The only difference is that your website will be a single-page site. If you want to add additional pages, you can do so by creating blog posts.

This option is best suited to those that need to create an information-rich website with a lot of content. Although, bear in mind that you can set up payment gateways on a blog – you simply need to add a page for it.

Systeme.io Sales Funnel Sites

The second option is to create a sales funnel website. Here, you can add a variety of funnel steps that act as web pages.

One advantage is that you can build automation rules so that when someone goes through the funnel process, the lead nurturing is all done automatically. Funnels also allow you to add the same elements as the blogging feature, such as embedded video, audio, and all the sales and data capture elements.

This type of site is best suited to those that sell both physical and digital products..

What Features Does the Systeme.io Website Builder Offer?

If you’re thinking of using Systeme.io for your website-building needs, here’s what you can expect from the platform.

A Wide Choice of Funnel and Blog Templates

Systeme.io’s templates are handy because they allow for a large degree of flexibility. Rather than provide you with an entire website template, you get templates for individual blog posts, or sales funnel steps.

A Wide Choice of Funnel and Blog Templates

When you set up your blog, you get six templates to pick from. Then, after setting up the blog, you will see that a number of blog posts get automatically added, each with a different layout. You can make duplicates of these and overwrite them with your own content.

The sales funnel feature provides templates for each funnel stage that you add. For example, there are templates for sales pages, info pages, squeeze pages, and more.

Each template can be fully customized, and you have the ability to add in extra sections and elements as well as delete ones you don’t need.

Simple Drag-and-Drop Editing Tool

Editing in both the blogging and sales funnel tools is easy and intuitive. All you need to do is choose the desired element or block from the left-hand menu and drag it over onto the editing space.

Clicking on the individual elements and blocks opens up their editing sub-menus, where you can quickly customize them.

Add Surveys and Forms for Data Collection

Add Surveys and Forms for Data Collection

To help you build your contact lists and leads, Systeme.io lets you add forms and surveys to your blog and funnel sites.

When adding a form, you can choose from a range of form options from name, email, and phone number to physical address, company name, and more. Surveys, on the other hand, let you create multiple-choice questions that can be completed on the web page or via a pop-up.

Embed Audio and Video Files

Embed Audio and Video Files

To make pages more dynamic, Systeme.io supports the uploading of video and audio files.

You are free to upload a video directly or embed a video directly from a hosting site such as YouTube or Vimeo. Audio files work in the same fashion – either upload the files yourself or add a direct link.

Display Facebook Comments

Display Facebook Comments

A handy feature is an ability to integrate your Facebook page with your Systeme.io web page. This gives visitors the opportunity to leave a comment directly on Facebook without actually having to leave your webpage.

All you do is add the Facebook element and add the URL of your page.

Integrate Payment Providers

Integrate Payment Providers

Systeme.io supports direct integrations with the following payment providers:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • RazorPay
  • Flutterwave

Payment options are flexible, meaning you can charge a one-off fee for your products or create payment plans and take regular subscription fees. Better still, Systeme.io does not take a transaction fee for any payments made on its platform.

Add Your Systeme.io Courses and Products

Since you can set up payment pages on blogs and sales funnels, it makes it easy to sell any courses and digital products that you have created on the platform.

Systeme.io also provides the ability to sell physical products though bear in mind that this is not designed for or suitable for a large-scale e-commerce store.
